Peregrina Pearls
Peregrina Pearls is a mother-and-daughter start up based in Klaipeda, Lithuania. They specialize in everything pearly, but mainly – necklaces – long or short, classic or contemporary. According to the ladies, their goal is to make pearls great again to provide lower- and medium-priced small series pearl collections that would go well with contemporary style – be it casual chic or even sporty. A decent vision, we must say.
By the way, “Peregrina” is the name of the most famous historic pearl – the Wanderer. It was found in mid-16th century in the Gulf of Panama and since then resided with the most influential owners – kings, queens and dukes until 1969 when Richard Burton purchased it at the Sotheby’s for his wife – Elizabeth Taylor as a Valentine’s Day gift. As of 2018, the pearl has a new owner and it is the second known largest pearl in the world. But please, have a look at less expensive options below!
